Janine Chou assists Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate clients in maximizing their software investment and particularly enjoys the challenge of designing reports that meet her clients’ needs. Her instincts reflect years as a financial analyst and controller at leading industrial firms, giving Janine valuable experience that has helped her earn certifications in Sage Service Management and Construction Accounting platforms. She has been with USI for more than seven years, and enjoys channeling her extra energy into volunteer activities, youth athletics and Girl Scouts.

Pamela Daly - Senior Certified Consultant
Pam Daly is a Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Senior Certified Consultant, and joined our team many years ago to apply her experience working in financial management for construction firms. Combining her appetite for numbers with a head for project management has given her deep knowledge of both the construction and accounting fields, a powerful combination that yields immediate results for clients. Pam likes to get her hands dirty, testing the software to find the best solutions for her clients’ investment. She travels to conferences to gain exposure to the industry’s unique challenges, and presents at them to share her expertise. Pam also takes time to recharge by knitting, reading, and dancing.

Alida Dwyer - Senior Certified Consultant
Alida is a CPA who specializes in consulting and has received the Certified Information Technology Professional designation from the American Institute of CPAs. Since 1981, she has worked with companies to install software, train employees, customize reports and improve their accounting systems. She combines her background in public accounting, her extensive industry experience and her software knowledge to help companies implement new software and provide better information for decision making.

Norman Hartigan - Senior Certified Consultant
Norman Hartigan is a Senior Certified Consultant who specializes in helping general contractors, specialty contractors and heavy/civil contractors with their use of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate software. His work in the field comes in handy for his clients, as Norman has held the role of project manager for a site development firm. His front-line experience helps him better understand which Sage software features will match his clients’ needs, while over ten years as a software support supervisor gives him the technical know-how to solve problems fast. Norman finds his freedom on the open road when riding his motorcycle or coaching kids on the finer points of soccer.

Michael Kane - Senior Certified Consultant
Michael Kane was born into the construction world and has been active in computerized construction environments since 1970. He’s done what his clients manage on a daily basis. His practical field experiences, in part as a Massachusetts Unrestricted Licensed Construction Supervisor, provide his Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate clients with useful solutions for managing everyday challenges and curve balls in both the front and back offices. He especially enjoys the challenge of using Crystal Reports and MyAssistant to extract and analyze data in unique ways. He has been a Timberline/Sage user and consultant since 1984. When his brain isn’t plugged into his laptop, he’d rather be flying.

Bill has over 25+ years’ experience in successful accounting and financial software implementation and support services for construction and construction related clients. Bill is active in TUG as a Construction Accounting Committee & Forum member writing articles for the “Pulse.” He is also active in ABC, CFMA, and ACG.

Doug Lewanda - Consultant
Douglas Lewanda has overseen corporate accounting and controller responsibilities for numerous general contractors throughout New England. Understanding what happens on the inside gives Doug the ability to quickly interpret his clients’ challenges and find an appropriate solution. He works with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate clients throughout Southern New England and the Westchester County region in New York. When not in the office, Doug is an active theater-goer and avid cyclist and bowling enthusiast.

Mark Stevens - Senior Certified Consultant
Mark Stevens joined United Solutions in 1998 after working for real estate companies in the Boston area. Mark brings a unique skill set to United Solutions and his clients. He is certified in Construction Accounting, Property Management, and Service Management. He is skillful at writing custom reports that meet his clients’ unique needs, and he enjoys finding ways to streamline and automate routine processes – whether through the use of Microsoft Access or other third party products. His sessions at USI’s client conferences are always well attended and receive outstanding reviews. Mark has been recognized nationally by the Timberline User Group as a presenter at their National Conference. In his spare time, Mark enjoys skiing, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, tailgating at Patriots’ games and playing in a band.

Jessica Weber - Certified Consultant
Jessica Weber is an Independent Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate and Sage Service Operations (SSO) consultant. Jessica has a BA in Economics from Bentley University. Her experience in Sage and IFS|Core Software began in 2003, as the Operations Manager in a large commercial services company, eventually becoming a Consultant in 2014. She specializes in Service Management for both commercial and residential service implementations, Sage Service Operations, and custom Crystal Reporting. When not busy assisting others expand their software horizons, Jessica enjoys her cub scout and running club activities.

Michael has an extensive background in construction, development, property accounting and property management. Michael is a Senior Consultant experienced in the implementation of both Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate software. Michael and his wife Shannon have been married for 15 years and have two children. Michael lives in the North Georgia mountains where he and his family are active in their community and ministries at their church.

Donna Brooks - Certified Consultant
Donna Brooks is a certified consultant, and has been with USI since 2009. Throughout her career, Donna has gotten her hands dirty by digging into the construction industry, holding positions ranging from building administrator for the City of Nashua, NH to managing daily activities for a custom home builder. This experience enables Donna to quickly grasp the day-to-day operations of her clients in the construction industry. She also leverages a degree in Building Construction Technology from the Wentworth Institute of Technology to identify rapidly-deployable software solutions for her clients. If not over-servicing the customer, Donna is happy to spend time with family and pets, and thanks to her hobbies of fishing and boating, she’s also quite content on the open water.

Frank Doyle - Consultant
Frank Doyle is well-versed in financial management, having overseen the fiscal health of organizations including general contractors, manufacturers and retail businesses. He began his career as an accountant after receiving degrees in the trade from Boston College and Bentley University. With experience that directly parallels the decisions his clients must make daily, Frank is a natural fit in our consulting team. Specializing in Sage 100 Contractor software, Frank is involved from installation of the platform to post-deployment to assist with system operation and accounting procedures. When he’s not busy helping clients learn the ins and outs of their Sage Software, he’s usually on a set of a skis or piloting a kayak – or volunteering to preserve natural environments.

Elizabeth Gaydou is a Sage 100 Contractor Certified Consultant in both Construction Accounting and Service Specialty. She has been creating solutions for our customers since 2007 and is deeply engaged in the construction industry. Elizabeth helps her clients with software conversions, monthly audits and reviews, and implementation of the Sage 100 Contractor software. As someone who thrives on challenges and making her clients’ lives more peaceful, Elizabeth embodies the USI approach to problem-solving. She spends her free time with family, even if it involves traveling great distances to squeeze in a visit.

Lisa Mussoni - Certified Consultant
Lisa Mussoni has a deep financial background as well as experience using Sage products from the client-side. Lisa brings a perspective to our team that benefits the company’s construction industry clients.
Prior to joining our team, Mussoni was self-employed and managed her own accounting firm. As a business owner, she understands immediately what companies faced when identifying software solutions that would enhance the performance of their accounting operations. Lisa’s experience followed close to a decade spent working in the banking and finance sectors, where she held positions including branch manager and financial advisor.
Mussoni is actively involved in the construction industry and her community through several recognized organizations. She is currently a member of the Center for Women and Enterprise; Leading Women; Bookkeepers Unite; Global Women in Finance; and Sage-CRE Business Partners. She holds a BA in economics from Framingham State University.

Peter Patno - Certified Consultant
In order to truly provide value, a United Solutions’ consultant must understand that construction accounting software impacts multiple departments, from HR to estimating to accounting. As a former vice president of finance for a major construction management firm, Peter knows exactly what a construction company is looking for when implementing a software solution. Additionally, Peter’s experience as a user of Sage products makes him particularly aware of the day-to-day needs of back office and field staff. He also keeps up-to-date on industry topics and trends as a member of CFMA. When not providing expert guidance, Peter is actively involved with his children’s high school and college sports teams, even serving as a director of a youth basketball organization.

David Ayers - Senior Certified Consultant
David Ayers is a senior estimating consultant with our team, and has been with the company for over 20 years. In that time, he has developed a wide range of skills that address clients’ estimating needs, and provides consulting services that include helping customers with estimating database development. Daily he assists construction companies, major utilities and commercial real estate firms with their estimating needs. When not working, David enjoys devoting time to family activities, and in his spare time enjoys Cape Cod, Vermont. and other travel adventures.

Lisa Conrad started her career in the accounting world and worked as a Controller before moving into consulting. She was intrigued by finding technological means to improve efficiency and gathering data for analysis and by doing so she has furthered her education in the technology field. She has been helping clients for 15 years. She is a big Portland Trailblazer fan and loves to attend games with her son Aaron and also enjoys the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.

Rebekah Helton - Senior Certified Consultant
Rebekah is a senior consultant with over 20 years’ experience designing, implementing and supporting Sage ERP systems. While she has engaged with a wide variety of organizations, she has developed specialties in Distribution, Manufacturing, Service Management, and Job Costing applications. Professional areas of expertise include business process reviews, system design & implementation, general consulting, and report writing. Her degree in Elementary Education has provided her with a solid background for consulting and training, and her sense of humor has served her well in working in the areas of accounting, operations, and IT. While away from work, Rebekah enjoys travel, reading, running, and following soccer, including watching her son’s high school teams and enthusiastically supporting the Portland Timbers.

Scott’s overall pursuit is to add value to an organizations blending pure analytics with a form of “Business Artistry” to assist clients in capturing the essence and inherent intellectual property of their respective organizations.

Graham Macleod - Director
Graham MacLeod has been implementing Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) and business productivity applications for the past 24 years. In his career, he has worked with companies in the manufacturing, financial and technology sectors – as well as with specialty contractors and property managers. In all of these roles, Graham has continued to expand his knowledge of the ever-changing CRM landscape and learn the best practices for how to deploy CRM within a wide variety of business models, no matter the size of the company.
Graham joined USI in 2005, and in that time has built highly customized solutions that integrate Sage CRM as a front-end, customer-facing tool, to Sage 300 CRE Job Cost, Contracts, Property Management and Project Management modules. These solutions help contractors streamline the quoting and proposal process, and help real estate clients efficiently track prospective tenants from Guest Card through Tenant Renewal stages – always with the goal of improving information access and visibility throughout the organization.

David Pion - Certified Consultant
David Pion is a member of our Sage CRM team, and brings a deep understanding of relational databases, multiple platforms and a long-term familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle systems to the group. USI clients rely on David to bridge the gap between themselves and technical developers, focusing on daily software needs, helping to mitigate challenges and finding solutions quickly.
Prior to joining USI, David held several development related roles and worked in a technical consultant and business analyst capacity at Mitratech for companies including IBM, Textron, Nationwide Insurance and Pfizer. David has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Software Engineering from Fairfield University.
When he disconnects from the workplace, David is an avid mountain biker, kayaker and hiker, and can be found feeding his inner travel bug visiting new destinations.
